Cheeseburger French Fry Bake

If you love cheeseburgers and crispy fries, this casserole is going to be your new favorite comfort food! Juicy ground beef, gooey cheese, and golden French fries come together in one easy bake that the whole family will devour.

Ingredients


  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    1 teaspoon paprika
    Salt & black pepper, to taste
    1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup (or cream of mushroom)
    1/2 cup ketchup
    2 tablespoons yellow mustard
    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
    1 bag (28 oz) frozen French fries

Optional toppings:

 pickles, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, bacon bits, extra ketchup or mustard

Instructions

Step 1 – Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2 – Cook the beef

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess grease. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Step 3 – Make the cheeseburger filling

Stir in the condensed soup, ketchup, and mustard. Mix until creamy. Add 1 cup of cheddar cheese and stir until melted.

Step 4 – Assemble the casserole

Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Top with a layer of frozen French fries.

Step 5 – Bake

Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until the fries are golden and crispy.

Step 6 – Add cheese

Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.

Step 7 – Serve

Top with your favorite cheeseburger fixings and enjoy warm! 🍟🧀

Tips & Variations


  • Swap beef for ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
    Add crumbled bacon for a bacon cheeseburger twist.
