Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage) 1 small onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce (marinara or your favorite) 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes, drained 1 tsp Italian seasoning Salt & pepper, to taste 1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Brown the meat In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until meat is browned. Drain excess fat. Mix the sauce Add pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes. Layer in the crockpot Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Add a layer of frozen ravioli. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with sauce and cheese on top. Cook Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours (or HIGH for 2–3 hours). Serve Sprinkle with Parmesan and fresh parsley or basil before serving.
