Garlic Flatbreads

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¾ cup plain Greek yogurt (or regular plain yogurt, drained)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

Make the dough
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add the yogurt and olive oil, then mix until a dough forms.
Knead for about 2–3 minutes until smooth and soft. If sticky, add a little more flour.
Rest the dough
Cover with a towel and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.
Prepare the garlic butter
Mix melted butter with minced garlic and parsley. Set aside.
Shape the flatbreads
Divide dough into 6–8 balls. Roll each into a thin oval or circle.
Cook
Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat.
Cook each flatbread for about 1–2 minutes per side until puffed and golden brown spots appear.
Finish with garlic butter
Brush hot flatbreads with the garlic butter mixture right after cooking.

Serve warm with soups, curries, dips, or just on their own!
