Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients:

1 ½ lbs large shrimp, peeled & deveined
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 lemon (about 3 tbsp)
Zest of 1 lemon
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt & pepper.
Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1–2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat.
Remove from heat, add the last tbsp of butter and parsley. Stir until melted and glossy.
Serve immediately with rice, pasta, or crusty bread for dipping.
