Pineapple Pie – (Johnny Cash’s Mother’s Recipe)

This recipe of the Pineapple Pie is something that could be put together in no time.

Talk about baking with less fuss and not too many ingredients, and there it is. All you need are a few ingredients that may already be available in your pantry and a pie shell. Unbaked of course ! I used to be one of those people who thought it was important to stand for long hours in the kitchen to make a killer dish. Over the years I realized it is so not true. Simple cooking methods with lesser ingredients can be a great choice as well, honestly is it about how well the flavors and textures work together as one. That way if you see, this recipe works for me.

I love the sweet tanginess from the pineapple along with butter and eggs that help in getting us the soft centered texture after baking. So next time you want to get your hands on something simple, combine all these ingredients and pop it in the oven.
