Ingredients :
°1 3/4 C. of sugar
°1 stick of unsalted butter (1/2 C.) temp.
°3 large eggs
°1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
° salt
°3 T. flour
°1 Tbsp buttermilk
°1 9″ pie shell, un.baked
Cream sugar & butter until well mixed . Beat the eggs, one at a time, until the mixture is nice and smooth. Add vanilla, salt and flour. Beat buttermilk to well mixed. Place the pie shell on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil (catch any overflow). Fill the pie shell with the buttermilk mixture, to the top of the pie shell. Pour the rest into an ungreased custard cup. Baking at 300 degrees for 1 h 10 min. Remove from oven and let set until almost cooled before serving. Store covered in the refrigerator.
